Better together

One thing we’ve learned over the last couple of years is that relationships matter.  ALL of our relationships.  The ones we have with folks younger than us and the ones we have with folks older than us.  In fact, our relationship with God is made better and deeper when we engage with God’s people.

At Lexington Park UMC you will find many ways to connect.  A small group or study environment provides an opportunity to get to know others at a level not possible in Sunday morning worship.  These are places where we share, learn and grow.  These are places to connect in ways that make a difference at every stage of our lives.   We’re pretty sure there’s a group here for you and your family.

Kids

Our in person children’s programs include a Nursery for infants and toddlers, as well as, Kids Adventure Worship for children preschool through 5th grade. Each of these areas offers a dynamic environment for your child to play and interact while learning about the love of Jesus and Christian Community.  We take the safety of all persons seriously and ensure each space is staffed appropriately. Vacation Bible School

We’re baaack!  We are pleased to offer a fun and faith-filled Vacation Bible School (VBS) session.  VBS follows a fun and exciting theme, packed with activities and learning opportunities.  We typically announce the year’s VBS program in late spring with instruction for registration and volunteer opportunities.

Youth

As we build programming in this area, your youth is welcome to worship in the sanctuary at 10 am and to join Young Life and other programing opportunities.

Adult

We offer a variety of small group and bible study options throughout the year.  Contact Paula, Director of Discipleship, at office@lexingtonparkumc.org for more information.

Interested in Baptism?

Baptism is an important ritual in the Christian faith.  It is symbolic of God’s activity throughout the entire human landscape, of being reborn in Christ, and entering the life of the faith through the local church.  Anyone who has not been baptized is encouraged to take this important step, regardless of age.  Many parents choose to have their children baptized as infants or young children – symbolic of their dedication to raise their children to walk with Jesus until they are old enough to confirm their faith.

Pastor Anna will meet with you personally to guide you through the process and schedule a date for baptism before the congregation. Please contact her at pastorannaschwartz@gmail.com for more information.

Music
