10:00 am In the Sanctuary

Worship at Lexington Park UMC is an invitation to bring all of who we are to the God who loves us. The many gifts of our diverse congregation are featured through the choir, praise team, handbells, children’s choir, and other artistic expression. There is a laid-back vibe, a little bit of liturgy, and a whole lot of warmth! It is also followed by a donut and coffee time in the Fellowship Hall. The Worship Service generally last about an hour and a half.

As followers of Jesus, we believe that worship is a vital aspect of our relationship with God. In worship, we are invited to bring our full selves before God in praise, prayer, singing, listening, reflecting, giving, and in our commitment to go and serve the world. In worship, we experience the presence of God’s Spirit among us and connect to the faith community in ways that make a powerful difference in our lives.
